Our Road Trip

Today we were lucky to get to go on a little road trip! We went with my friend Trudy and her daughter Rylee. We went to Sioux City and met up with a couple of our other mommy friends! Lunch at Chuck E Cheeses and then the playland at the mall! Aedan and Elizabeth were fun to play with! And the top pic is actually the last picture, of the girls passed out on the way home!
It was also Lydias firt time alone in a car with a boy ;)

Tutus, and more tutu's

I made a special tutu today for a 4 year old. Her daddy is coming home from Iraq after serving 15 months...She is going to wear this to his homecoming! I am so excited for this family! It totally brings be back to 2006...and a look at what is in store for us in 2010

A new bathroom, well a made over bathroom

The only thing missing is a couple of Photos- still need to decide which ones, but i have the pretty frames they will go in! new paint, new light fixture, decluttered, new cabinet about the toilet and new towel rack and rug. I LOVE IT ! It seems so much lighter! I think the new bright white on the ceiling did wonders!

A Cherry and a Friend

Lydia had her first every Cherry- I think I am going to have to fight her for them from now on! It was a big hit! She had to go sit by her best buddy Sydney- It was all Syd could do to keep from taking that Cherry!

Bye bye daddy....

So we just said goodbye to Kurk- I actually cried when he left- I still love the old man!
He is off to Arkansas for 2 weeks for training for the upcoming deployment overseas in April. I think it just hit me- he is going to be gone for a YEAR. Lydia has so much fun with her daddy- He is going to miss so much- how do I make up for her daddy missing a whole year of her life?

Our Christmas In Texas

Lydia and I were lucky enough to be able to fly down to see Kenya for Christmas, well, the weekend before Christmas. It was great! we were able to surprise her- only a few more months and she will be back in South Dakota! Woohoo!! Lydi however, was NOT happy for photo time- it was 80 degrees and she wanted to be PLAYING...
